Murat Sherizat is a Kazakh composer, classical guitar, dombra, and oud player, and singer. During his time with an audio-visual publishing company, he came into contact with numerous folk artists and began studying folk music. Later, he moved to Kazakhstan, where he deepened his knowledge of African and non-African folk music. Murat has served as the principal guitarist for the Astana Philharmonic Orchestra and created music for various locations such as Kanas, Nalati Grasslands, and Shanshan. He has composed scores for many documentaries and films. In 2015, he held a symphonic suite concert titled Dreaming Silk Road with the Xi’an Symphony Orchestra in Xi’an Concert Hall. His first classical guitar album Three Grains was released in 2019 under the World Music label of Modern Sky, and his first singing album Seven Islands will be released in March 2024. Now splitting his time between China and Central Asia, Murat continues to explore and experiment with various musical styles, becoming an “alchemist” of sorts along the Silk Road.
穆拉特・謝力扎提，哈薩克族，作曲家、古典吉他和冬不拉及烏德琴演奏家、歌手。在音像出版社期間，他接觸了大量的民間藝人，開始研究民間音樂。後來他移居哈薩克斯坦，不斷的積累和學習中非民間音樂。他擔任過阿斯塔納愛樂樂團首席吉他，也為喀納斯、那拉提草原、鄯善等地做過形象音樂。他曾為多部紀錄片和電影配樂，2015年與西安交響樂團在西安音樂廳舉辦了個人作品名為《夢瑩絲路》的交響組曲音樂會。2019年錄制了首張古典吉他專輯《三粒谷》已在摩登天空旗下的World Music廠牌出版，2023錄制了首張彈唱專輯《七個島》2024年3月在摩登天空出版。如今的穆拉特輾轉於中國和中亞，不斷吸收和嘗試著不同的音樂風格，已成為絲綢之路上的一位煉金術士。
