Zhu Yu, a poet, critic, and essayist, is currently an Associate Professor at Suzhou University. He has published many books, including most recently Tact. He has received many honors, including the Zijin Mountain Literary Award, the Yangtze River Poetry Award, and the Rougang Poetry Prize. He has been invited to participate in international poetry events, such as the Pacific International Poetry Festival, the Henry Luce Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center, and the third Chinese and Korean Poets Forum. His poetry has been translated into multiple languages, and has recently been included in Spanish and Portuguese anthologies published in Argentina and Brazil, respectively.
