Dickson Dee (Li Chin Sung) is a music producer in Hong Kong. He has been engaged in contemporary music industry for more than 30 years, especially the production and promotion of experimental music. Since 2017, he has been appointed Music Director of the International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong. In 1996, Dickson’s debut solo album PAST was released under Tzadik label (USA). Since then, he began to set foot in the field with musical styles ranging from avant-garde to experimental, music concrete, electronic, new classical, industrial noise, dance and electronic world jazz. He has performed under different names and formed several bands. He has also collaborated with various artists around the world. Dickson set up his own music label Noise Asia in the early 1990s and another personal label Dicksonia Audio. As independent labels in Hong Kong, Noise Asia and Dicksonia Audio not only help release and distribute overseas avant-garde musical works, but also give them a great degree of creative freedom.
Dickson was invited to various international art and music events, including Fabbrica EUROPA, Venice Biennale, Musik Triennale in Cologne, Bergen International Festival, Yokohama Triennale, Kitakyushu Biennale, Huayi Festival Singapore, Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival Vietnam, Taiwan International Music Festival, Shanghai International Arts Festival, Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism / Architecture, New Vision Arts Festival Hong Kong and Silk Road Arts Festival Hong Kong, International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong, etc. In addition to concerts, Dickson also gives workshops and lectures at tertiary institutions, in the hope that his sharing would kindle students’ interest in sound art and music.
李勁松，又名Dickson Dee，香港知名音樂製作人，從事當代尤其是實驗音樂的創作和推廣逾三十年。自2017始，任香港國際詩歌之夜音樂總監。1996年，李勁松在紐約重要實驗音樂廠牌TZADIK推出首張個人專輯PAST，自此踏足音樂創作領域，涉足音樂類型廣泛，從前衛實驗性的具象音樂、電子、新古典、工業噪音、跳舞音樂到世界電聲爵士等。他曾以不同藝名及組合進行創作和演出，與世界各國眾多著名音樂人合作，他於一九九〇年代初創辦的唱片公司Noise Asia和後來的Dicksonia Audio均是香港本地重要的獨立音樂廠牌，對引進和推廣國外前衛音樂以及支持獨立廠牌和音樂人不遺餘力。
