突圍：朗誦與對話——香港國際詩歌之夜系列

Break Out: IPNHK Reading & Dialogue Series is an online extension of International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong (IPNHK), a biennial program organized by the Hong Kong Poetry Festival Foundation until November 2019. Created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic that brought social distancing and isolation to our lives everywhere, Break Out presents distinguished poets from around the world and their translators in conversation. Poets, translators, and sometimes scholars read poetry in different languages and discuss topics of common interest. Livestreamed in seven sessions from May to August in 2021, the first season of Break Out featured 12 international poets, drawing over 3.3 million viewers in the process.

Curated by Max Xiaobing Tang of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the second season of Break Out will be launched in late November, 2021. The new season will introduce renowned poets from Portugal, Greece, Russia, USA and Mainland China along with their translators. Two of the seven sessions will pay tribute to important poets of the past. To further fuse and enrich our appreciation of poetry and art, each session will be accompanied by a dance film, a musical performance, or a presentation of visual arts.

“突圍：朗誦與對話”是香港國際詩歌之夜（IPNHK) 系列的一部分，由香港詩歌節基金會主辦，邀請著名詩人、翻譯家、學者以及音樂人參加，以線上雙語活動的形式進行。其宗旨是為共同應對曠世疫情做出貢獻，讓詩歌引領我們突破重圍。第一季“突圍”於2021年5月至8月在鳳凰網等多平台直播，共有十二位詩人參與，得到眾多合作方的支持，也廣受觀眾好評，七場節目總播放量超過330萬。

第二季“突圍”將於2021年11月下旬隆重推出，上季嘉賓之一、香港中文大學文學院教授唐小兵應邀擔任節目總策劃。計劃中的七場節目，將邀請來自葡萄牙、希臘、俄國、美國和中國大陸的詩人與譯者、學者一同進行多語言的朗誦與對話活動。同時，新的一季“突圍”將增加“向詩人致敬”的節目，由譯者和嘉賓一起誦讀、欣賞已故著名詩人的作品。此外，我們還將邀請多位音樂人、舞者、視覺藝術家為本季活動提供創意作品，讓多種藝術形式與詩歌融彙在一起，為世界各地的觀眾帶來豐富的藝術體驗。

“香港國際詩歌之夜”由詩人北島於2009年創辦，十多年來屢獲殊榮，成為亞洲最具影響力的詩歌盛事，亦是國際詩壇上最成功的詩歌活動之一。
