Zhou Zan | 周瓚

Zhou Zan is a poet, translator, playwright and literature scholar. Born in Jiang Su province, South China, she got her PhD from Peking University in 1999 and is now working at Institute of Chinese Literature in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Zhou Zan founded Wings (a literary journal for women poetry in China) with Zhai Yongming in 1998. She won Liu Li’an Poetry Award Collation and published Dreaming or Self-observation in 1999. Zhou Zan got ACLS fellowships in 2006 and became a visiting scholar at Columbia University in United States during 2006-2007. In 2008, Zhou Zan co-founded Ladybird Theatre in Beijing with Cao Ke-fei. She is also one of the fundamental members of Beijing Flowing Fire Tent Theatre. Her play work Cyborg Don Quixote was premiered in Beijing in 2013 and taken part in the Reading Festival for Kinesisk Dramatik in Copenhagen in Denmark in 2014.

詩人、譯者、戲劇工作者、學者。生於江蘇,本名周亞琴。1999年畢業於北京大學中文系,獲文學博士學位,現為中國社會科學院文學研究所研究員。1998年,與詩人翟永明等創辦女性詩歌刊物《翼》。1999年獲安高詩集整理獎,出版詩集《夢想,或自我觀察》。2006-2007年度美國哥倫比亞大學訪問學者。2007年加入北京帳篷戲劇小組,現為北京流火帳篷劇社成員。2008年,與曹克非創辦瓢蟲劇社。2013年,編劇帳篷戲劇作品《賽博格·堂吉訶德》在北京公演,並受邀參加了2014年丹麥哥本哈根戲劇節。
