Currently president of the Hong Kong Film Critics Society and review editor for Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine and Osqaure， Matthew Cheng is the author of Word and Light: Reviews of Film Adapted from Literature, the prose collection A Walk Down Recollection Road, and three collections of poetry, as well as editor of more than thirty books on literature, film, and culture. In 2013, he received the Hong Kong Arts Development Award for Best Artist (Arts Criticism).
