
Liu Wai Tong is a poet, writer, and photographer. He was born in 1975 in Guangdong Province, later moved to Hong Kong, lived in Beijing for five years, and currently lives in Taipei as a Guest Associate Professor at the Taipei National University of Arts. Liu has received the Hong Kong Biennial Award for Literature, the Taiwan Times Literature Award, and the United Daily News Literature Award. He was awarded the 2012 Hong Kong Arts Development Award
for Best Artist in the literature category and is often invited to international literary events, such as the 2011 Taipei Poetry Festival, the 2013 Poetry International in Rotterdam, and the 2016 Singapore Writers Festival. His recent publications include All Lights Will not Burn Out: Lin Wai Tong Selected Poems 2017–2019, and Calling Me When You Are Waiting for the Midnight Snow: Liu Wai Tong Selected Poems of 25 Years, and The Rose is Without an Explanation.
廖偉棠 (Liu Wai Tong),香港詩人、作家、攝影家, 曾獲香港青年文學獎、香港中文文學獎、台灣中國時報文學獎、聯合報文學獎及香港文學雙年獎等,香港藝術發展獎2012年年度藝術家(文學),台北藝術大學客座副教授、香港城市大學駐系作家。曾出版詩集《八尺雪意》、《半簿鬼語》、《春盞》、《後覺書》、《櫻桃與金剛》、《一切閃耀都不會熄滅》、《半夜待雪喊我》等十餘種,講演集《我偏愛讀詩的荒謬》、《玫瑰是沒有理由的開放:走近現代詩的四十條小徑》,評論集「異托邦指南」系列,散文集《衣錦夜行》、《尋找倉央嘉措》、《有情枝》,小說集《十八條小巷的戰爭遊戲》等。
